OUR FURRY FARM HAND HELPERS;
A farm or acreage is not complete without the farm hands - besides the two legged; we have a few furry ones we would like to introduce; because, hey! they are family too!!
Bif is my partner in crime - he is basically an 80# good for nothing dog - but he doesn't know that Marty (cat) can work sheep and goats better than what he can - so basically he is our door bell when someone drives/comes onto the place, but if we are at the acreage so is he, he loves just going and doing.
Marty replaced George about a year after George passed - I didn't think anyone would be as good of a mouser as what George was, but Marty is showing me differently every day, if he isn't bringing me a mouse or a bird he is out chasing his tail or helping us herd the sheep/goats - yes, I am sorry to say Bif, but Marty is a better helper with the livestock than you! - maybe it is because he thinks he is a BIG jungle cat in a little cat body
Honey Cream came to us from Iowa the Summer of 2019; my daughter brought her back to Nebraska on my Birthday from Honey Creek Farms in Iowa where she was working; if you go thru that area make sure you stop by Stanley's and try their Gelato and Goat cheese, my dughter probably helped make..
