LAND GRAZING ~
Is your lawn out of control? Do you have a couple of acres full of shrubs, small trees and undergrowth to clear? Our Sheep and/or goats may be the answer!
A few sheep and goats will take care of brush, weeds and trim all the branches as high as they can reach..
GO GREEN ~
So what can be a more natural alternative than placing some hungry animals in a field and letting them graze on the brush and weeds straight down to the earth?
No toxic chemicals, no pollution to the environment, no loud noise only the soft bleating of a herd in the distance.
Goats and sheep have been used for centuries for land management. They provide an ecologically sound and economically viable alternative for biological weed and brush control.
They are an ecological means of clearing brush. grazing is also much safer to our water supply than the use of toxic herbicides and chemicals.
Pesticides only kill the symptom, not the problem. The weeds will always survive or come back thicker and heartier. Sheep/goats eat the flower and all of the reproductive parts of the weed plant. With the animals only leaving the stalk portion, the weed is not encouraged to grow back thicker or heartier.
Many cattle producers spend a large amount of money each year to control undesired plants (weeds and brush). Producers incur the primary cost by purchasing herbicides and hiring equipment and operators to clear brush and reclaim lands that have become unable to support cattle at an acceptable production level. In order for today's producers to have a chance at making an almighty dollar, every acre of ground capable of being productive must be used.

Our goats and sheep are an environmentally friendly method for clearing areas containing endangered or sensitive vegetation and animal life. Thinning by grazing animals is a natural method resulting in a naturally balanced environment over the long term.
Erosion from over-stripped recently cleared land is eliminated safely and effectively.
another advantage of our animals is that, unlike a bulldozer, they control brush and weeds without disturbing the existing grass and soil. They also do not leave synthetic chemicals that could run off into lakes and streams or be ingested by a cow or other animal.
These characteristics make our animals ideal candidates for multispecific-many species-rotational grazing.
Our sheep and goats can be rotated in to eliminate most of the undesirable vegetation (from a cow's perspective), and then the cows can come behind them to graze the grass without having to pick through as many weeds.

- sheep and goats don't pollute and naturally fertilize as they work
- They eat unwanted plants and invasive weeds like poison ivy, kudzu, thistle, sumac, multiflora rose, bittersweet, and english ivy, just to name a few
- Less expensive than gas guzzling machines and safer than cancerous chemicals

lastly some of the ways our animals can help residential and commercial landowners with land maintenance and improvements.
- General bush clearing
- Keep next year’s weeds from getting a start, goats eat seeds that pesticides leave behind
- Clearing survey lines
- Acreage clearing: selective or broad
- Removal of vegetation before it dries and becomes a fire hazard
- Vegetation maintenance
- Property value improvement
- Clearing out underbrush to make property more attractive and accessible
- Removing troublesome plants
- Pre-development lot clearing
- Clearing out dense underbrush to help reduce mosquito population
- Nature trails
- RV trails
- Walking trails
- Horseback riding trails
- Snowmobile trails
- Agricultural
- Pasture restoration
- Grazing service, Rotational grazing, Prescribed grazing
- Removing weeds provides more space for grass to grow
- Control brush regrowth
- fire preventative maintenance
- Initial clearing of food plot area
HOW DOES IT WORK ~
we will come and survey the area, check to make sure there is no toxic plants to our animals as that is a deal breaker - we will then set up our portable electric fencing to ensure that our animals are contained and predators kept out - animals will then be delivered - we work closely with our animals, therefore, they are checked on daily and moved as we see fit - The brush will begin to disappear right before your eyes - we can only do so many areas so we choose what areas will be better suited for our animals.

Most companies out there that offer these kinds of services will charge $200-$300 a day - ours is FREE to our locals it is a win/ win situation!!
